  • 14 Sep 2016
  • 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Historic Fort Snelling

Bring your group and tour bus to Historic Fort Snelling for a step-on bus tour of the fort and the Upper Post. A costumed interpreter will join your group for an hour-long discussion of the history of the people who lived at the fort and Upper Post, and the role of medicine during the early 19th century, World War I and World War II.

After the tour, guests can go inside the visitor center to view an archaeology display about medicine, watch the 20-minute film "Where the Waters Meet: Stories of Fort Snelling" and shop in the gift store.

The fort's gate opening accommodates buses up to 13 ft wide. The group minimum is eight people. The last tour starts at 3 pm.
