Discover the history behind the old brick buildings of the Upper Post and hear a true 1940 murder mystery. Take a guided tour with a costumed interpreter who will share tales of army life from 100 years ago, the state of the buildings today and current restoration efforts. Plus, hear the details of a true mystery at the post. The tour will include the officers' row, the barracks, administrative buildings and drill fields along Taylor Avenue.

This tour will last two hours and will cover rough terrain. Meet at the Headquarters building (clock tower) across from the ball fields on the corner of Taylor Avenue and Colville Avenue. The headquarters building is a quarter mile from the Fort Snelling light rail station. This tour is sponsored by the Friends of Fort Snelling.
